The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announces that the 2025 Tissot UCI Track World Championships, which were due to take place from 15 to 19 October 2025 in San Juan, Argentina, will finally be held on the same dates in Santiago, Chile.
The event will be held at the Velódromo Peñalolén (or Santiago Velodrome). Inaugurated in 2014 for the South American Games and with a capacity of 3,000 spectators, it has already hosted several other international competitions in the past, including the Pan American Track Cycling Championships in 2015, a round of the 2017-2018 Tissot UCI Track World Cup and the track cycling events of the 2023 Pan American Games.
The UCI would like to thank the organising committee – led by the National Olympic Committee, the National Cycling Federation of Chile and the Chilean Ministry of Sports – for the quality of their candidature, which will enable the country to host in 2025 the most important annual event in track cycling.
