The finalists were selected from all entries by a panel of seven renowned experts representing various fields of expertise (including active mobility, sustainability, academia, the media and professional cycling):

Jill Warren – CEO of the European Cyclists' Federation
Carly Gilbert-Patrick – Team Leader, Active Mobility, Digitalisation and Mode Integration at the UN Environment Programme

Amina Lanaya - UCI Director General.
President of the Jury Tony Mitchell said: “All members of the jury were very impressed by the quality of candidates for these new awards. They have all succeeded in transforming their visions into innovative and concrete actions in favour of sustainability and cycling for all. It was a hard task to come up with a short list in each category, and it will be equally difficult to choose the actual winners. We look forward to celebrating their success at the upcoming UCI Mobility and Bike City Forum in Abu Dhabi next month.”
